baby steps.

i spend a lot of time thinking about how to lower my environmental impact on earth.

recycling, buying secondhand, bike riding, composting, buying locally, etc.

so to reduce landfill waste, i refuse to use paper plates or paper towels. especially because it only takes a second to wash a plate or throw a cloth napkin in the next load of laundry. my mom recently gave me some dish rags that my grandmother crocheted years ago and i'm excited to replace my disposable sponges with a much more eco-friendly option.

Word! I love the crocheted dish rags, they certainly get the job done. And the colors you have are smashing!

Those are gorgeous! And how romantic and sweet that they are from your grandmother's work. Love.

I think about this a lot too! I've definitely tried to buy second hand as much as possible, recycle and not buy paper goods! Great thoughts!
